All passengers traveling to Japan are required to have a certificate of a negative COVID-19 test result at your departure country before boarding. Additionally, effective April 19, 2021, certifications must clearly indicate valid testing methods as some are deemed invalid. Those that do not have proper certification will not be admitted to board.

CommonPass is a user-oriented standardized global app that allows passengers to document and share their COVID-19 testing status and vaccination history for a smooth and hassle-free travel experience. On March 29, we collaborated with The Commons Project to conduct the first trial of the CommonPass digital health passport on our Tokyo Haneda to New York route, checking for the effectiveness of tests and check-in procedures at Haneda Airport.

We're going digital
Beginning April, our inflight magazine TSUBASA -GLOBAL WINGS-, as well as other newspapers and magazines, will be transitioning to digital form. The digital copies will be available on the ANA app and we will be expanding our library of newspaper and magazine options to include media from a broader range of languages. With this shift, we are able to reduce approximately 1,540 tons of paper emissions per year!
