Testing Required Before Boarding Your Flight to the U.S.
Effective January 26, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued an order requiring all air passengers arriving to the U.S. from a foreign country, regardless of nationality to get tested for COVID-19 infection no more than 3 days prior to departure and to provide proof of the negative result or documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 before boarding the flight. If a passenger chooses not to provide a test result or documentation of recovery, we must deny boarding.

Testing Required Prior to Entering Japan
Effective January 13, 2021, all foreign nationals (regardless of nationality) who enter Japan from all countries and regions are required to present an "Inspection Certificate of COVID-19 test" issued within 72 hours before departure. If you cannot submit the inspection certificate, you will be asked to wait at an accommodation facility secured by the quarantine station. Please be sure to prepare the inspection certificate prior to your departure.
